Galvanised Steel Fittings – Sockets

Galvanised Steel Fittings – Sockets

A socket is a fitting that attaches to the end of a pipe. Another piece of pipe can be placed into it through a hole in the center of the pipe. The two components are then clamped or joined using welding to keep them together. Depending on the use, pipe sockets come in a variety of sizes and materials. The most typical uses for pipe sockets are in irrigation and plumbing. They offer a quick and simple method of joining two pieces of pipe and are simple to remove if required.
